Preservation with Purpose
What We Do
Housed in a meticulously preserved 1800s bank building, Latrobe’s is a celebration of New Orleans history. Every event honors the past while creating something unforgettable for the present.
Handled With Care
We manage every detail from start to finish. From layout to lighting, florals to flow, your event is in expert hands—so you can be fully present, not preoccupied.
Custom-Crafted for You
No two events here are alike. We design with your story in mind, curating every element to reflect your taste, traditions, and vision.
More Than a Moment
Events at Latrobe’s aren’t just staged for the camera—they’re made to be felt. We create experiences your guests will carry with them, long after the last song plays.
History of the space
Completed in 1821 as the Louisiana State Bank, Latrobe’s takes its name from its architect, Benjamin Henry Latrobe—renowned as the “Father of American Architecture.” His legacy includes iconic works such as the U.S. Capitol, the porticos of the White House, the Baltimore Basilica, and the creation of America’s first waterworks system.
Today, his signature design elements—the whisper dome, the original bank vault, exposed brick, and hand-laid stonework—remain beautifully preserved. Together, they provide an extraordinary backdrop for celebrations of every kind, making Latrobe’s not only a National Landmark but also a timeless stage for unforgettable moments.

Millie Adler
Born and raised in New Orleans, I’ve always been inspired by the city’s history, architecture, and spirit of celebration. My journey however, took me beyond Louisiana—studying Chinese language and traveling throughout China, then living in San Francisco, where I explored both culture and technology through a career in web development. Those experiences shaped the perspective I now bring to Latrobe’s.
For over 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of stewarding Latrobe’s, a National Historic Landmark in the heart of the French Quarter. In that time, I’ve worked with couples, companies, and community organizations to create events that reflect their unique vision while honoring the building’s legacy. My mission is to blend modern hospitality with historic authenticity, ensuring every gathering feels both timeless and personal.
Today, I remain passionate about growing Latrobe’s as a place where history, beauty, and human connection come together—and about celebrating the city I will always call home.
